Julia Jordan

I grew up in Covington, Louisiana, and graduated from Fontainebleau High in 2021. I attend Southeastern Louisiana University, where I am obtaining my B. A in Communication and Media Studies. Concentrating in television and multimedia journalism.

Like most people, I often get tired of hearing unfortunate events on the news. I want to be the change and help steer the narrative from that focus. While these elements are still important to breaking news today, there's brighter news ahead. I want to use my skills to showcase what society hasn't seen much of. I hope to eventually intern with Channel 13 in my hometown as an opportunity to see how news is covered in the reporting field in real time, better my writing and editing skills, and hopefully secure a permanent position with STPSB Channel 13 in the future!

Moving forward, I hope to dabble in public relations, marketing, news anchoring!
